I’m Merlene, a mom, a registered nurse, and the woman behind Bloom with Merlene.
For years, my life was centered around caring for other people. As a registered nurse, I loved being able to make a difference in people's lives. But when I became a mom, the way I looked at my future began to change.
I started asking myself different questions. What would it look like if I had more flexibility? Could I create another source of income while still being present for my son? Could I build something of my own without giving up the career I had worked so hard for?
Through all of this, my faith has remained at the heart of my journey.
My relationship with God is a big part of who I am, and I want Him to be at the center of everything I do. I believe God placed the vision for Bloom with Merlene in my heart for a reason. I didn’t know exactly where it would lead when I first started, but I chose to trust Him, take the first step, and allow Him to guide me along the way.
Like many moms, I was trying to balance motherhood, work, night shifts, and everyday responsibilities. I knew I wanted something different, but I didn't know what that would look like or where to start.
Then I discovered digital marketing.
At first, I knew very little about the online business world. I had to learn new skills, understand how digital products worked, learn about content and marketing, and push myself far outside my comfort zone.
There were definitely moments when I questioned myself. But my faith continued to remind me that I didn't have to have everything figured out. I simply needed to take the next step, trust God with the journey, and keep moving forward.

What You Will Learn Inside DWA
Digital Marketing: I can learn the foundations of digital marketing and how online businesses use content and marketing strategies to reach potential customers.
Personal Branding: Building an online business is not only about having something to sell. I also need to communicate who I am, what I offer, and why people should trust my brand.
Social Media and Content: Social platforms can become powerful marketing channels when I understand how to use them strategically.
Reels and Faceless Marketing: I don’t have to rely only on showing my face. DWA includes content and faceless strategies that can help beginners explore different ways to market online
Affiliate Marketing: DWA introduces affiliate marketing and how people can promote products or services as part of an online business.
Digital Products: I can learn how digital products work and how creators can package knowledge, skills, or resources into products that can be sold online.
Funnels and Email Marketing: Marketing does not end when someone sees a post. Funnels and email marketing can help businesses guide interested people toward an offer.
Building Multiple Income Streams: DWA presents different online business models so learners can explore what fits their goals and skills.
One of the hardest things about entering digital marketing is information overload. There are thousands of videos, posts, and opinions online, and it is easy to learn a little about everything without knowing what to do first.
That is why I believe structured education can be valuable. Instead of jumping between unrelated tutorials, I can follow a more organized learning path and then apply what I learn.
DWA is designed with beginners in mind, and the official program also emphasizes community access, live support, and ongoing updates.
If you are serious about learning digital marketing and want a deeper foundation for building an online business, I invite you to explore DWA through my store.

If I Can Do It, You Can Do Better
I didn’t begin this journey with all the answers. I began as a mom and a registered nurse who simply wanted to explore another possibility. I was unsure. I had doubts. I had a lot to learn. But I started anyway. And I’m so grateful that I did.
I am a faith-based entrepreneur, and my faith in God is at the heart of this journey. I believe God gave me this dream and placed it in my heart for a reason. He gave me the desire to build something of my own, create more flexibility for my family, and use what I learn to encourage and help other women who may be looking for a different path.
I may not have understood exactly where this journey would lead when I first started, but I chose to trust God, take the first step, and keep moving forward. Looking back, I can see how each step has helped shape the person and entrepreneur I am becoming.
Today, I’m still learning, still growing and still building. But now I have a completely different perspective on what is possible when you give yourself permission to try something new.
If you’re a mom who has been thinking about starting an online business, learning digital marketing, creating another source of income, or simply developing a new skill, I want to encourage you not to let the fact that you’re a beginner stop you.
You don’t have to know everything before you start.
You just have to be willing to take the first step.
